Nick stood there staring at Hayley’s casket being lowered into the ground. Brian stood beside him. AJ stood on his other side. Tears ran down Nick’s cheeks. After the funeral was over, they all went to Brian’s house. Nick sat on the couch. He closed his eyes. He felt someone sit down next to him. He looked and saw Leighanne. Her eyes were red and puffy.
